Teyana Taylor to Release New LP 'The Album' on Juneteenth
Featuring Erykah Badu, Missy Elliott, Future, Kehlani, Rick Ross, and many more.

Teyana Taylor has unveiled the release date of her next LP, The Album. Set to arrive on Juneteeth (June 19) via G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam, the new record features a stacked list of guests from the likes of Erykah Badu, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Future, Big Sean, Kehlani, Rick Ross, and more.

The Album will include Taylor’s previously revealed tracks “How You Want It?” featuring P. Diddy’s son, King Combs, as well as “Wake Up Love” featuring her husband, Iman Shumpert. It will also include her Kanye West-produced single “We Got Love” featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill, her graduation anthem “Made It,” and the Janet Jackson-approved “Bare Wit Me.”
Taylor recently scored a nomination for Best Director at the 2020 BET Awards for her self-directed “Wake Up Love” music video, which also revealed that Taylor was pregnant with her second child.
