'Dark' Season 3 Promises an Apocalyptic Nightmare
The final installment of Netflix’s hit series arrives on June 27.
After delivering a teaser trailer last month for Dark Season 3, Netflix has now shared the official trailer for the apocalyptic time-warping series. Pegged as the final installment of the hit German show, the new season promises a whole lot of supernatural twists and turns.
“From what time are you?” Jonas asks Martha in the trailer’s opening. “It’s not about what time, but from what world,” she replies before the trailer shows a void-like ball engulfing the village of Winden. Later in the trailer, a voice can be heard saying “You promised there would be a way to change it all,” foreshadowing the characters’ inability to escape their fates.
“We will offer answers to the questions that our viewers have been asking and help untangle the story through time,” creators Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar previously said of Season 3. “It will be hard for us to walk away from those characters we have really grown fond of, but the beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning.”
