Founded in 2019, Coda’s design ethos centers around wearable garments informed by relaxed cuts and premium construction. Its lookbooks often imagine an adventurous spin on its garments, with Spring/Summer 2020 staying the course and demonstrating an adventurous approach to layering.
Progressive styling informs the new lookbook, as relaxed T-shirts are sized up to the logical extreme and layered atop giant shirts, while other shirts are strapped around the waist and tied over the shoulders. Wide, cropped trousers interrupt the generous proportions above as houndstooth, checker and striped patterns lend further visual interest. Intelligent textiles elevate the understated essentials, with a multi-toned balmacaan coat rendered in sturdy gabardine, an anorak realized in water-resistant cotton poplin and an all-season heavy cotton selected for the boxy T-shirts.
