Teyana Taylor Delivers Music Videos for New Singles "Bare Wit Me" and "Made It"
Following the announcement of her forthcoming album earlier this month.
Teyana Taylor has shared music videos for two new singles “Bare Wit Me” and “Made It.”
As Taylor notes, “Made It” is a tribute to those graduating this year, whose ceremonial plans for a traditional sendoff were canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “First and foremost, thank you to ALL the graduates that contributed to the video!” Taylor shared in an Instagram post. “I truly appreciate you and happy to celebrate YOU!!! Unfortunately, this pandemic has stopped us from physically gathering and celebrating all the hard work you’ve put in through the years. But this pandemic can’t stop your spirit, it can’t dim your light, and it can’t take your degree away from you!! So when you make it out of this dark time, shine bright and light up the world!”
The visual for “Bare Wit Me” sees Taylor honing in on her love for film noir and old school gangster flicks, which sees her taking on the persona of a mob kingpin as she murders her husband Iman Shumpert, later interrogated by detectives behind closed doors.
The releases follow Teyana Taylor’s announcement for her forthcoming project, The Album, earlier this month. While we wait for that project, catch the visuals for “Made It” above and “Bare Wit Me” below.
