PlayStation Teases Upcoming 'Marvel's Iron Man VR' in New Cinematic Trailer
Set to release next month.
PlayStation revealed a new trailer for Marvel’s Iron Man VR, and alongside it, an official release date. In the short trailer above, we get cinematics of Iron Man going up against Ghost in a city street. This villain was most recently seen in the 2018 film Ant-Man and The Wasp. Although the footage above doesn’t show any official gameplay, the footage below does show what the game looks like hands-on.
According to PlayStation, Iron Man is navigated using “two PlayStation Move motion controllers” to control his Repulsor Jets and with his arsenal buttons being regulated to the face buttons. The game also promises the ability to upgrade Iron Man’s armor and upgrade his weapon abilities.
A demo for the Camouflaj-developed title was released back in May, the same month the game was supposed to release before it was delayed and later given a new release date.
This isn’t the first VR title from Marvel. Last year, Marvel Studios released Avengers: Damage Control, an ILMxLAB developed game that sees the new team in training led by none other than Black Panther‘s sister herself, Shuri.
Marvel’s Iron Man VR is now scheduled to release for the PlayStation VR on July 3.
In other gaming news, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales may not have a “full-game” experience.
