THE NORTH FACE Release Two New Footwear Options for Summer
Arriving as the open-toe Base Camp Slide and Fluffy Flip Flop II.
The North Face has just dropped two new open-toe sandal silhouettes. Arriving as the Base Camp Slide and Fluffy Flip Flop II, both options come in a multitude of colors from yellow, red, brown, black, white, and teal.
The Base Camp Slide slide is intended for more rigorous outdoor situations like camping as it offers more protection at the top of the foot. A soft shroud is securely fastened over the foot with two plastic YKK buckles for a secure and adjustable fit. While in place, the foot sits on top of a soft XTRAFOAM footbed that’s matched with a lightweight molded EVA midsole.
The Fluffy Flip Flop II takes more of the traditional sandal appearance with toe webbing made from 100% recycled material. This model also sees an EXTRAFOAM footbed with an EVA midsole. Each pair comes with an environmentally-friendly biodegradable poly bag.
Look for both models over at Goldwin Japan. The Base Camp Slide retails for ¥8,580 JPY ($80 USD) while the Fluffy Flip Flop II retails for ¥6,380 JPY ($60 USD).
