With another week we have yet another installment of our product drops series, this time marked by a host of standout releases. Leading the list is the release of Supreme‘s eleventh Spring/Summer 2020 drop.

Returning to its series of special releases, the Week 11 drop from Supreme features a collaboration with quintessential British brand Barbour. Barbour’s signature lightweight waxed cotton material was utilized in the construction of a waist bag, crusher hat, camp cap and field jacket inspired by the Bedale.

Notable collaborations this week come from BEAMS and Nike, along with COMME des GARÇONS and Cactus Plant Flea Market for the CDG sub-label and MATE for Moncler‘s progressive Genius project. Other standouts include UNIQLO UT‘s 35th anniversary of Super Mario Brothers and Prada‘s May Time Capsule release. Rounding up this week’s product drops is ROKIT‘s “Oh! Sweet Nuthin” Summer 2020 collection and KAPITAL‘s SS20 collection.

KAPITAL SS20 Collection

Providing another look at KAPITAL‘s SS20 collection, photographer Eric Kvatek has delivered a photographic highlight of the seasonal range.

Shot in Da Nang and Hoi An in Vietnam, the images focus on workwear-indebted pieces, like the denim Mackintosh coat that sports dual-button fastening and topstitched pockets, as well as a 60/40 Cross KAMAKURA anorak and the Kung Fu coveralls. The range also features an array of bone-covered pieces including a Hawaiian-styled shirt, a surfing wetsuit and more. Rounding up the collection are denim garments covered in peace signs, along with hats, sweatshirts and jackets sporting the brand’s signature smiley face emblem.

UNIQLO UT Super Mario T-Shirt Collection

UNIQLO celebrates the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Brothers with a collection of graphic T-shirts.

Coming in kids and adult sizes, the special range heavily features imagery drawn from the classic 1985 Nintendo videogame. T-shirts come marked with minimal designs and all-over prints that express the graphic evolution of Mario throughout the decades. Other designs include a “Warp Zone” T-shirt, multi-color Yoshi print T-shirt and a simple  “date” graphic T-shirt.

Moncler Genius x MATE X

Moncler‘s progressive Genius project collaboration with MATE centered around a personal expression at the summit of fashion and tech innovations, the collaboration resulted in a limited edition eBike series.

Designed for both urban riding and mountain exploration, the Moncler Genius x MATE X features a space-grade aluminum frame paired with a performance-tuned 250W or 1000W motor with throttle that can reach speeds of 52 kmh/32 mph (unlocked). Powering the bike is an upgraded SMART BMS BATTERY, Samsung 3400 Li-Ion 48V 17.5 Ah battery with high capacity battery cells that ensure a range of up to 70 miles/110 km on a single charge. To control the incredible speed and torque, the bike is equipped with reliable hydraulic brakes with and a Shimano 8-speed shifting system.

The Moncler Genius x MATE X also features a 4G connection that allows for accurate readings of temperature, voltage and cell-balancing to protect the electrical system. Along with a remote live-tracking and anti-theft system with a patent-pending “Self Destruct Mode.”

Finally, the eBike easily folds away in seconds with three easy steps and comes with a custom Moncler down quilted duvet crafted in technical microfibre with nylon laqué. The removable cover helps keep the battery warm for maximum range in frigid temperatures.

ROKIT Summer 2020 “Oh! Sweet Nuthin” Collection

Back for Summer 2020, ROKIT has returned with its “Oh! Sweet Nuthin” collection which draws heavily from The Velvet Underground‘s hit 1970 track from its album Loaded.

Channeling the spirit of the iconic band and its ties to ’60s counterculture, the range is filled with dreamy yet vibrant streetwear staples. The collection also touches on our current situation with colors and a sense of escapism found during self-isolation. Standouts include the “Who Loves The Sun?” T-shirt – a reference to The Velvet Underground’s song of the same name, and facemasks printed with the phrase “I don’t know what day it is either.” Other items include tie-dye print T-shirts, a nod to The Velvet Underground’s Loaded with a T-shirt sporting a back print that includes the album’s tracklist, and a shirt that depicts Lou Reed smoking. Rounding out the collection is a T-shirt that simply depicts combing flames and a graphic of Earth with the phrase “Shit Happens.”

Prada May Time Capsule Release

Following up on its project launched back in January, Prada has now unveiled the latest installment in its Time Capsule series.

The upcoming limited poplin shirt release draws heavily from auto racing styling. The shirt is marked with a black, white and gold print marked by “May” at the rear accented by mother-of-pearl buttons. Every release in the Time Capsule project is also graced by a logo designed by OMA, the legendary studio founded by Rem Koolhaas, as well as a special serial number.

Cactus Plant Flea Market x COMME des GARÇONS CDG T-Shirt

For its latest round of CDG sub-label collaborative items, COMME des GARÇONS tapped Cactus Plant Flea Market for a series of T-shirts.

The duo put together a pair of graphic shirts emblazoned with CPFM’s signature illustrative flourishes. The exclusives utilizes clean white bases with one shirt marked with CPFM’s double-eyed smiley face, complete with CDG branding, stars and “BE KIND” verbiage. While the other features co-branding and even more direct calls to action like “GO BE KIND” and “GROW” atop colorful stylized suns.

Supreme SS20 Collection Week 11 Online Release

Keeping its Spring 2020 releases coming, Supreme has now readied the Week 11 drop of its latest seasonal collection. After a short break, this week the New York imprint returns with its latest collaboration with quintessential British brand Barbour. The team-up sees Barbour’s signature lightweight waxed cotton material utilized for the construction of a waist bag, crusher hat, camp cap, and the spotlighted field jacket that is inspired by the Bedale, all of which come in a bold leopard print, traffic-stopping orange, or a staple black.

Accompanying standout garments include the Twill Varsity Jacket, Over-dyed Hooded Sweatshirt and matching Shorts and World Famous Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt. Other notables are the Stars Zip Up Sweater Polo, Silk Work Shirt, Dog and Hourglass Raglan Long-Sleeve Shirt, and Wide Wale Corduroy Cargo Pant. Headwear options include the Piping 6-Panel and Radial Camp Cap. This week’s boldly branded accessories come in the form of the S&M 1995 BMX Dirt-bike and Waterproof Lighter Case Keychain.

BEAMS x Nike Polka Dot Coach Jacket and Shorts Set

For its latest collaboration, BEAMS has tapped Nike for a special polka dot release.

Comprised of a coach jacket, shorts and matching kilties, the special range is centered around a simple contrast drive dotted motif.  The apparel side is constructed of a lightweight material for quick drying and sweat absorption. Functional elements on the coach jacket include secure snap buttons and gartered cuffs, while the shirts feature an adjustable waistband and breathable mesh lining. Branding on the jacket and shorts come in the form of a translucent “JUST DO IT.” patch that subtly disrupts the full print. Additionally, each purchase will come with matching polka dot kilties that can be applied to sneakers.
