Kenny Mason Releases Double Video for "Chevron" and "PTSD"
From the rapper’s debut album ‘Angelic Hoodrat.’
Kenny Mason is forging full steam ahead since dropping his debut album Angelic Hoodrat last month. After releasing the project alongside a music video for the work’s title track, the Atlanta-bred rapper has followed up with a double video for “Chevron/PTSD,” two of the boldest songs from the recent album.
The visual sees the artist spitting his quick-witted bars while sitting atop a car, which he continues to deliver at a breakneck pace until the camera pans out on the entire scene. Before the video ends, it cuts to black-and-white footage for the “PTSD” segment, ushering in a darker mood reminiscent of horrorcore rap. Mason has continued to make his mark since breaking through late last year with the help of his record “HIT.” He built upon that momentum in February by dropping off “Metal Wings,” a guitar-heavy track showcasing his range.
Elsewhere in music, Jean Deaux recently released an explosive new EP titled Watch This!.
