A$AP Ferg Joins ONEFOUR for New Single "Say it Again"
Accompanied by visuals shot in Sydney’s Mount Druitt.
Today, Australian music group ONEFOUR released the track “Say it Again” with A$AP Ferg, along with accompanying visuals. Both the song and music video came together when Ferg was in Australia to headline the Hidden festival earlier this year. Produced by UK drill producer Gotcha and ONEFOUR collaborator i.amsolo, the track comes three months after their last release “Welcome to Prison.”
J Emz and Spenny of ONEFOUR described “Say it Again” as “a song about remaining defiant when the odds are against you” and praised Ferg as an observant person who “picked up on the small cues and put his own style of energy on the track.” “He has a real hard work ethic, he doesn’t waste any time,” they added. “Right after finishing his verse he asked if it was possible to shoot the video in Mt. Druitt where the boys are from. He was curious to see what West Sydney was about and went out of his way to do whatever was needed for the song.”
The visuals spotlight the ONEFOUR rappers under colorful fluorescent lights, with some members wearing face masks. A$AP Ferg enters, bringing the growing group outside to graffiti-covered stairwells and buildings in Mount Druitt. “I said it before, I’ma say it again/All of that talk ’til we sprayin’ your friends,” J Emz raps. “To everyone sayin’ we ain’t in the field/Been in the streets we don’t need to pretend.”
