SCYE Renders Smart Styling in Minimal SS20 Lookbook
Imbued with hi-tech details.
SCYE has unveiled an eclectic range of smartly tailored goods in its Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook. On top of all the light, breathable fabrics seen in this season’s assemblage, the Japanese label has also incorporated a vibrant range of warm-weather palettes to brighten up the wearer’s wardrobe.
The collection includes a series of finely tailored silhouettes, like double-breasted blazers, cropped trousers, trench coats and clean button-ups, alongside more casual staples like denim overalls, plaid shirts and checkered jackets.
One noteworthy piece is a beige trench coat that’s been styled with a dark green utility vest. The garment sports an elongated fit that’s slightly tapered at the top and loosens up towards the bottom. It boasts cream-colored ivory buttons and tonal top-stitching, while sleek black nylon straps on the vest offer a bold contrast.
Another highlight is the white overalls, built with a semi-boxy fit and embellished with a slew of reinforced panels. Popping out from its canvas body are silver-toned embellishments. At the top of the piece are tonal chest pockets, finished off by large waist pockets below. Other pieces like the navy pin-stripe suit, green blazer, leather cargo shorts, plaid jumpsuit and satin button-up round up the collection.
