Nike LeBron 17 Appears in Lowkey "Multicolor" Style
With accents that appear to be inspired by the colors of Olympic rings.
LeBron James‘s global appeal is undeniable, so Nike Basketball has prepared his LeBron 17 Low in an internationally themed “Multicolor” makeup. Mixing a simple base with colorful accents that appear to be inspired by the colors of the Olympic rings, this low-top LeBron 17 offers a mostly no-frills look — but one with just enough flair for the dramatic.
Uppers are dressed in black, and display a duo of knits: the base layer uses a pebbled, Battleknit-like texture, while the sizable one-piece mudguard/midfoot overlay calls upon tightly woven textiles. Outlined white Nike Swooshes are present in large and small fashion on the lateral and medial sides, respectively, with LeBron’s signature embroidered in white on the tongue.
Although everything described to this point may be stark and simple, the “Multicolor” earns its moniker with its other accents. Heels use red and yellow (left shoe) plus blue and green tones (right shoe) to embellish its white-topped LeBron logos, and a small blue Swoosh appears towards the front of the crown-inspired midsole overlay. If you peer into the insoles, you’ll also see LeBron’s Dunkman graphic done up in five different colors for a kaleidoscopic look. A clear heel Air Max unit, white React foam forefoot and white outsole round off the design.
The Nike LeBron 17 Low “Multicolor” is available now via Nike China, and will likely arrive at Western retailers in the coming weeks. The MSRP is set at $160 USD.
