Lil Yachty Serves up Two-For-One "Split/Whole Time" Music Video
A pair of bite-sized singles from ‘Lil Boat 3.’
After Kerwin Frost premiered an exclusive pair of tracks on his radio show, Lil Yachty has issued another set of singles from his forthcoming Lil Boat 3. “Split/Whole Time” is a two-part single accompanied by a music video, together clocking under four minutes.
Shot in a parking lot, the “Split” clip sees Yachty flexing a Ferrari amidst a swaying group of fans, dropping stream-of-consciousness bars like “I’m in tune with the UPS / Waiting on packages, KP gon’ do the rest” and “I’mma rush hour road runner, like Jackie Chan.” The spacious production plays well with the similarly airy “Whole Time,” which places Lil Boat in a sizeable gym as he touches on subjects ranging from Audemars Piguet to atrological signs to Germ-X.
Yachty’s Lil Boat 3 sets sail on May 29, listen to “Split/Whole Time” above in the meantime.
Meanwhile, Yachty’s frequent contributor Gunna is expected to chart extremely high with his sophomore album, WUNNA.
