Ron Herman Joins G-Shock for Surf Style GWX-5700 Watch
The sturdy timepiece arrives in a simple black colorway.
Last year, G-Shock enlisted specialty boutique Ron Herman for a bright blue GWX-5700CS- 1 JF watch. The pair have teamed up once again for a special black model of the GWX-5700 for the Japanese division of the Los Angeles-based clothing brand.
The bespoke timepiece arrives with an inverted LCD display and updated nylon band. A tide graph is included in the watch as an element of the sea that is indispensable to Ron Herman, along with solar-powered timekeeping. Ron Herman’s logo appears in white on the front and is engraved in stainless steel on the case back. Like previous Ron Herman collaborations, the base of the watch is a surfing model, emphasizing the brand’s California surf lifestyle and aesthetic.
Retailing for ¥29,800 JPY (approx. $275 USD), the special model will release May 28 on Ron Herman Japan’s website as well as on the brand’s U.S. site.
