Following the initial unveiling of the “Reebok eightyone” collection, the sportswear label and Japanese fashion designer and VAINL ARCHIVE founder Kohei Okita are now preparing the second drop of the range.
Continuing the darker Earthy tones of the collaboration, the second drop is lead by takes on the popular Instapump Fury. This time around, the slip-on footwear option has been done in two tri-tone colorways that emphasize the dynamic paneling and Pump system that defines the shoe. A mixture of materials is also used in the construction of the shoe to reimagine the form through an exploration of textures.
Accompanying the shoes is a full unisex apparel range that continues the color palette established by the Instapump Fury colorways. According to Okita, the tones reflect the same sensibilities that make VAINL ARCHIVE, namely the focus on unique design that evokes a sense of differentness and disorientation. Included in the selection are soccer shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts, short-sleeve T-shirts and shorts which come marked with “eightyone” notation and Reebok’s signature branding.
