KITH Is Raffling Off Friends-And-Family Nike Air Force 1s For Charity
All profits go to DirectRelief’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
Once a friends-and-family only style, five pairs of KITH and Nike‘s Air Force 1 collaboration are now being raffled off for charity. Limited to 100 pairs in total, the style was originally bequeathed to personal friends of Ronnie Fieg and other individuals in the KITH inner circle. There were never any plans for a public release, but with the continued effect of the COVID-19 coronavirus, five KITH employees have opted to give up their personal pairs to benefit DirectRelief’s COVID-19 response fund.
First teased by Fieg himself in November 2019, the collaborative AF1s blend classic New York cool with a healthy dose of preppy nautical style. Uppers are built from white leather, and accented by a rich navy collar. Red fabric tongue tags and green mini Swooshes on the medial forefoot add further dashes of vibrance, and KITH’s signature box logo is debossed on each Swoosh in repeating fashion. More repeated branding can be seen on the premium cork insole as well. Gold-tipped laces, gold KITH lace deubres and an off-white rubber midsole complete the look.
The raffle for each of the five pairs begins on the KITH webstore May 14, and runs through May 17 at 6 P.M. EST. Each “ticket” is $10 USD, and there is a 100-ticket limit — across all sizes — per person.
