Jordan Brand Readies New Trunner Advance Silhouette
The hybrid running/training shoe boasts “Vivid Purple” and “Rage Green” accents.

Jordan Brand‘s Trunner line is gearing up for summertime workouts, and its latest silhouette to toe the starting line is the Trunner Advance. A less expensive version of the recently-revealed Trunner Ultimate, the Trunner Advance features much of the same tech as its proverbial “big brother,” but is slightly more stripped back for a flexible fit.
Done up in white and black, the Trunner Advance uses dual-layer mesh on the upper for support and breathability. Fused overlays on the lateral forefoot and heel enhance durability, each adding a Jumpman logo as well. Black throats use both “Vivid Purple” and “Rage Green” on the eyestays for dashes of color, plus NBA 2K player icon-esque details, nodding to its performance purpose. A purple taped seam with “Runner Advance” printed on it in black skids down the medial midfoot to round off the top half.
Down below, a latticed cage that first appeared on the Jumpman Diamond Mid in 2019 adds stability to the design and houses a responsive Zoom Air unit. The midsole also features a rocker-style build, encouraging extra propulsion upon toe-off. Tri-color outsoles with more purple and green detailing finalize the style.
The Jordan Trunner Advance “Vivid Purple/Rage Green” is available now via Nike JP, and retails for a tax-included price of ¥13,200 JPY (approximately $123 USD). A US release will likely follow in the coming weeks.
