Ben & Jerry's x Nike SB Dunk Low "Chunky Dunky" Sweetens up This Week's Best Footwear Drops
Alongside the Dunk Low “Brazil,” the power-lacing Adapt Auto Max “Infrared” and new Palace x adidas skate shoes.

With Memorial Day weekend right around the corner in the US and summer’s balmy weather and cool breezes here to stay, sneaker drops are heating up right along with the temperature. This week holds everything from reworked classics to collaborations both sweet and serious, but before we get into what the days ahead hold for us, let’s take a brief refresher on all the news from the past seven days.
The arrival of summer and the current work from home environment makes it an ideal season for sandals, mules and slippers alike. Therefore, HYPEBEAST provided both a detailed look and a brief history of Nike ACG’s relaunched Deschutz sandal and a special Editor’s Picks article in which the editorial team rounded up its favorite comfy slides and slippers for working from home. We also served up closer looks at Rokit’s Converse Chuck 70 and New Balance’s 992 “Multicolor.”
With the highly-anticipated finale of The Last Dance and all the other Michael Jordan-adjacent news, you could be mistaken for thinking it was 1998 and the Chicago Bulls were on top of the world once again. From a sartorial standpoint, MJ might be most well-known for his shoes, but his manner of dress has become something of a cult classic — so HYPEBEAST defended his style in an editorial piece complete with several photos of the GOAT’s greatest outfits. Moving back to MJ’s kicks, a game-worn, signed Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” auctioned by Sotheby’s smashed its $150,000 USD price estimate, selling for a whopping $560,000 USD. This staggering number set a world record for the most expensive sneaker sale of all time.
fragment design founder and street culture legend Hiroshi Fujiwara continued to show off his unreleased “The Ten” models, teasing an ultra-clean fragment x Air Jordan 3. Miami-based boutique Solefly celebrated its 10th anniversary with a shock drop of its Air Jordan 10 collaboration, and we were also given an official look at the upcoming Air Jordan 6 “Hare.”
Lastly, the usual collaborative suspects had a moment in the spotlight. Virgil Abloh announced a new Nike Dunk collaboration with a somewhat rudimentary sketch, and a new “University Blue” colorway of his Nike Rubber Dunk surfaced as well. Abloh’s LV footwear was also in the headlines, thanks to a mule-style shoe created in tandem with Nigo. Kanye West’s adidas YEEZY 350 BOOST V2 appeared in a new tie-dyed iteration, KITH raffled off its friends-and-family Nike Air Force 1 collaboration to raise money for charity, and JJJJound teased a new version of the Reebok Classic Nylon.
Now that we’re all caught up, let’s get into this week’s best offerings. See a dozen new styles below, note that release dates may be pushed back due to the COVID-19 coronavirus and head over to our Drops page for a full list of releases.
