Famed Japanese retailer atmos and adidas Originals have teamed up once again to produce a ZX8000 “G-SNK.” A wild style rife with unique textures and replete with hi-vis reflective detailing, this ZX8000 takes the “G-SNK” stylings atmos and adidas first conceptualized on October 2019’s collaborative NMD R1s and ramps it up tenfold.

Equal parts mammal and reptile, uppers mix a shaggy light brown pony hair with bright neon green snakeskin overlays on the mudguard and heel. Both of these overlays are constructed of hi-vis reflective material for a flash of nighttime flair. There’s also black details on the midfoot, heel clip and collar, plus an adidas EQT-style dark green shade on the midfoot’s Three Stripe graphic. Two-tone green midsoles and black outsoles with a green Torsion bar complete the look. A special set of green tie-dye socks and “G-SNK” stickers are included in the packaging.

That’s not all, however: these “G-SNK” kicks are bolstered by matching apparel and accessories. Pharrell‘s BBC ICECREAM has put forth an atmos-exclusive long-sleeve T-shirt to match the sneakers. Arriving in both white and black, it presents a signature ICECREAM graphic on the front, and repeating ICECREAM and atmos logos on the sleeves. Crep Protect uses the same snakeskin print as the shoes to embellish a special can of waterproofer.

The atmos x adidas Originals ZX8000 “G-SNK” will release via the atmos webstore May 16, and is priced at ¥14,000 JPY (approximately $130 USD). The tee and waterproofer will both arrive the same day, and retail for ¥9,000 JPY (approximately $84 USD) and ¥2,000 JPY (approximately $19 USD).
