Zucca Joins Outdoor Products for Giant Wrinkled Backpacks
Along with normal-sized duffel bags and asymmetric T-shirts.

For the first time ever, long-running Japanese label Zucca has teamed up with accessories experts Outdoor Products for a playful range of bags and T-shirts. The collaborative items combine Zucca’s quirky aesthetic with Outdoor Products’ functionality, forming a stylish collection suitable for unpredictable outdoor conditions.
The collection is centered around a humongous backpack, accompanied by Outdoor Product’s standard daypack, “452U,” and duffel bag dubbed “231LRG.” Every bag is made of specially-processed ultra-lightweight nylon textile called “KONBU-N” that creates a unique wrinkled texture. The material, which is water resistant and machine-washable, allows the bags to be worn in all types of weather conditions. Both the backpack and duffel bag styles are available in bright orange, light brown and black.
In addition to the bags, collaborative T-shirts are embossed with a glossy rubber print featuring both brands’ names in eight different colors, such as white/pink, beige/green and black/orange. Rounding out the collection is a special boxy-cut tee that is cut diagonally, shifted and joined together again. Finally, to best keep in line with Zucca’s off-kilter design ethos, the hem protrudes in an asymmetrical design.
Retailing between ¥9,500 JPY to ¥17,000 JPY (approximately $90 USD to $160 USD), the collection will launch on Zucca’s web store and select stockists beginning in May.
Elsewhere in Japan, legendary bag imprint PORTER revamped a host of travel-friendly bags with bespoke garment dyes.
