thisisneverthat's SS20 Editorial Spotlights Scenic San Francisco
Skateboarding locals show off the lightweight layers.
thisisneverthat‘s Spring/Summer 2020 “Soft Work” offering embodies a variety of tenets key to the Korean label: military-inspired layering pieces, comfortably-loose shirts and relaxed trousers, to name a few. These core goods and a few bold graphic items are showcased in a seasonal editorial set across the sea in the bustling Californian city of San Francisco.
In place of the label’s latest New Balance collaboration, the editorial’s models sport skate-ready Vans and comfortable Birkenstocks, disparate silhouettes that balance the laid-back styling. Generous fleece pullovers, tie-dyed sweaters, weather-fighting jackets and patterned shirts provide staples ideal for San Francisco’s mild climate, with baker pants, jeans and track pants seen alongside baggy shorts. Branded GORE-TEX caps offer resistance to spring showers, while trim silver jewelry lends a delicate accent.

thisisneverthat isn’t the only label to take to San Francisco to highlight its latest range; France’s Drôle de Monsieur also hit the Californian city for some balmy styling.
