Thom Browne has just released a fresh new series of its signature seersucker garments, offering up a familiar array of preppy pieces infused with sportswear sensibilities. Sticking to his usual tailored ethos, Browne also takes references from as far back as the 18th-century, adopting a number of vintage silhouettes for the present day.

Standout styles utilize patterns like classic pinstripes, neutral-toned plaids and all-over printed sports emblems. The Multi-Icon Ball Sports Coat and matching pants take the spotlight as one of the bolder options, which features images of soccer balls, basketballs, and more for a fun aesthetic. Colorblocking also proves important, with blazers, shorts, and Oxford shoes employing the Mondrian-inspired technique throughout.

Accessories continue the playful styling by offering a number of quirky add-ons. Football-shaped fanny packs and baseball-shaped bookbags offer a lighthearted touch, while dog-eared slippers cement the cheerful mood.

Browse through the gallery above for a first look at the new seersucker capsule. For more from the collection or to shop now, visit Thom Browne’s webstore.

In other fashion releases from the brand, it recently dropped off several footwear styles that were modeled in the likeness of popular sports ball.
