'Reno 911!' Returns in Absurd New Trailer
The Quibi-revived series premieres on May 4.
Probably the last group of cops you’d ever want to rely on for your safety and well-being, the Reno Sheriff’s Department has been reinstated in the official trailer for Quibi’s revival of hit TV series, Reno 911!. The show, which was picked up by the streaming company last December, looks to be just as hilarious (and dangerous) as the previous episodes, taking on the same formula as the Comedy Central-issued seasons.
From outrageous 911 calls, over-the-top colleague interactions, and absurd responses by those barely in uniform, Quibi’s Reno 911! revival looks to be a promising addition to the cult classic series. Written, created, and starring Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Thomas Lennon, the show will feature the return of original cast members Wendi McLendon-Covey, Niecy Nash, Cedric Yarbough, and Carlos Alazraqui. The season will also see cameos from Dave Holmes, Tim Allen, Ron Perlman, Michael Ian Black, and Weird Al Yankovic.
The first three “bite-sized” episodes from Quibi arrive on the streaming platform on May 4, with new episodes following on weekdays via the company’s app.
