Phillips has announced a series of online auctions throughout the months of April and May. Kicking off the themed, cross-category auctions is “Editions and Works on Paper,” which will feature 50 lots by both contemporary and modern masters. Two concurrent sales will follow; “Current Mood” will be dedicated to contemporary art, while “Desktop” will offer contemporary art, editions, and designs by notable artists like Donald Judd and Katherine Bernhardt.

“Editions” offers a selection of both editioned and unique art from 1970 to 2016. Among the highlights are Yoshitomo Nara’s adorable Pup Cup and Little Wanderer sculptures, a series of Alexander Calder’s lithographs and a selection of Takashi Murakami prints featuring Mr. DOB, Kaikai & Kiki, and Doraemon. Other key pieces include Roy Lichtenstein’s Group four ceramic plates: After Bull Profile Series from 1973 and Mr.’s playful gouache on paper.

“Phillips has long-recognized the importance of digital engagement,” said Katherine Lukacher and Charlotte Gibbs, Co-Heads of Phillips’ Online-Only Sales. “As we practice social distancing across the globe, it has been wonderful to see the many unique and creative ways that people are able to stay connected with one another and how they are sharing their reality through powerful imagery, beauty, and humor.”

Check out all the works up for bid on Phillips’ website. “Editions and Works on Paper” is live now and will run until April 16.

Elsewhere in art, 96 NYC-based artists have joined a photo print sale fundraiser to support Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, New York fighting COVID-19.
