Expanding upon the Japanese label’s Spring/Summer 2020 wares, nonnative has prepped a concise array of items as part of a special summer capsule. Retro design cues influence the garments, which range from conventional cut & sew T-shirts to Cordura-infused trousers.

As nonnative enters its 21st anniversary, the stalwart label continues to perfect the sunny styling that it initially imagined as an early-’00s surf label. Signature nonnative touches, including lengthy tanktops, hoodies with cropped sleeves and self-belted carrot-cut trousers.

Furthermore, this collection upholds nonnative’s signature earth tone color palette, interrupting the neutral beige, brown and grey tones with splashes of sky blue suiting and the occasional checkered pattern. Technical touches come by way of adjustable hems and angled zipper pockets, infusing otherwise-conventional shirts, trousers and bags with functional fabrics like breathable COOLMAX and tear-resistant Cordura cotton.

COVERCHORD’s website will host the new range as it drops in time for the shifting seasons.
