Masego Enjoys the Comforts of Home With New "Veg Out (Wasting Thyme)" Video
“I just wanna waste some time, I just wanna rest my mind.”
Masego is one of those artists who simply does it all. The talented saxophonist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist returns today with a new music video for his latest surprise single “Veg Out (Wasting Thyme)”.
The visual is just that, as the Jamaican-American is making the best of being cooped up at home by jamming with pianist Daniel Foster while throwing some money around, FaceTiming friends and playing with some Nerf guns.
The song follows Masego’s first release of 2020, “King’s Rant”, a triumphant proclamation of his success and his movements in the industry, name-dropping Kendrick Lamar, Swizz Beatz and Kelly Rowland. “Veg Out” is an upbeat homage to wasting time and the pursuit of solitude. The artist has plenty of reasons for the celebratory mood, the most recent being his “Tadow” single earning an RIAA Gold Certification.
