Joji Announces Sophomore Album 'Nectar' With New Single "Gimme Love"
A new offering from the 88rising artist.
Joji has followed up his February 2020 offering “Run” with “Gimme Love,” the newest single off his forthcoming album Nectar. The 88rising artist’s latest track arrives with a two-part music video, co-directed by Miller himself and Andrew Donoho.
“Gimme Love” kicks off with a thumping, fast-paced beat that’s captured in the first half of the accompanying visual. Utilizing quick cuts, Joji can be seen taking on different careers, ranging from a scientist to politician and army man, but it all ends in a stressful situation. The music video quickly changes to a much slower pace to match the toned-down speed of the track, showing him as an astronaut escaping away to a rocket ship.
