IAB-Studio Puts Together Its Take on ASICS' GEL-Venture 6
The latest from Korean rapper Beenzino’s label.
Following a collaboration with LMC, IAB-Studio is now preparing its latest team-up with ASICS. This time around IAB-Studio has put its take on the GEL-Venture 6. Founded by popular Korean rap artist Beenzino, the fledgling label looked to apply it minimalist leaning design aesthetic onto the running model.
Starting with a grey technical mesh base, the shoe is accented by metallic silver leather overlays complete with blue and orange striping. Accompanying the dynamic branding expressed by the overlays are logo tongue tags, 3M reflective ASICS motifs at the toebox, “GEL-VENTURE 6” markings on the heel, “IAB-Studio” branding at the rear and co-branded insoles.
Additional detailing comes in the form of colored eyelets, yellow webbing elements and trail style laces. Finishing up the design of the collaborative shoes is a GEL-assisted grey midsole paired with an orange torsion support and rugged blue rubber outsole.
