DaBaby Projected to Dethrone The Weeknd on Billboard 200 Chart
‘Blame It on Baby’ could overtake ‘After Hours’ for the No. 1 spot.

DaBaby‘s Blame It on Baby is looking to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, with HITS Daily Double projecting 130,000 to 140,000 in total activity, including 8,000 to 10,000 in album sales.
If forecasts are correct, DaBaby will dethrone The Weeknd‘s After Hours after four consecutive weeks on top. After Hours is the first album since Drake’s Scorpion in 2018 to spend a whole month at No. 1, and has since fended off Tory Lanez‘s The New Toronto 3 and Rod Wave’s Pray 4 Love.
Blame It on Baby arrived just seven months after his chart-topping effort KIRK, and features appearances from Future and jetsonmade on “LIGHTSKIN SH*T,” Roddy Ricch on “ROCKSTAR,” Quavo on “PICK UP” Megan Thee Stallion and Ashanti on “NASTY,” NBA YoungBoy on “JUMP” and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and London On Da Track on “DROP.”
Elsewhere in music, Mobb Deep’s The Infamous… is set to receive a 25th anniversary reissue.
