Carhartt WIP Looks to the Great Indoors With SS20 Edit
Referencing the outdoors influence on the SS20 collection
Carhartt WIP has spotlighted a number of key pieces from its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, all of which had been heavily influenced by the great outdoors. However, considering the current situation around the world and the need for social distancing, Carhartt WIP has renamed the edit “The Great Indoors.”
In a press release accompanying the edit, Carhartt WIP explained that, “with many of us now confined to our homes, temporarily unable to appreciate sweeping green expanses, dense foliage and dirt trails. This edit of seasonal products hits a little differently than initially intended. But it also serves as a comforting reminder of what lies in wait when this is all over.”
Referencing the outdoors influence, the edit features a number of technical and functional pieces. Stand-outs include the water-repellant Elmwood Jacket and Anker Pullover, as well as the utility-focused Hayes Vest and T-shirts with mountain-themed graphics.
