adidas Y-3 Blends Avant-Garde Technique With Skateboarding Looks for New Yunu Sneaker
Arriving in two monochrome colorways.

Yohji Yamamoto‘s adidas Y-3 has released the Yunu sneaker, a new silhouette developed with adidas Skateboarding.
adidas Y-3 serves the inaugural Yunu sneaker in a go-to colorway of “Black/Cloud White,” accenting the durable canvas upper with suede and leather components. The sneaker sports Yohji Yamamoto’s embroidered signature along the mid-panel of each foot in “Cloud White,” while on the inside of each foot you’ll find a set of embroidered three stripes.
Other notable design elements include the signature Y-3 branding found atop of the tongue, as well as the leather trims that outline the curves around the shoe. A sole unit engineered by adidas Skateboarding adds grip, while a leather lining inside provides the footbed with comfort.
Joining the black pair is the “Cloud White” iteration which is complete with black embroidered branding. It also flips the stripes by adding those to the mid-panel in black, and uses black for the tongue’s branding. Take a look at the adidas Y-3 Yunu in “Black/Cloud White” and “Cloud White/Black” in the gallery above, and pick up a pair for yourself at retailers such as HBX and via adidas’ website for $280 USD each.
