Nike's Air Max 2090 Gets Extensive "By You" Customization Treatment
Play with lenticular colorways and spring-ready hues.
Nike has introduced its recently-released Air Max 2090 sneaker into its “By You” customization platform, providing customers with multicolored colorways that they can switch up themselves.
There are six bases to choose from, with standout starter colorways including “Magma Orange” and “Off Noir.” From here, you can choose the colors for the base, tongue, heel, toe, overlay, mudguard, backtab, midsole wedge and outsole heel.

Colors on offer range from a lenticular, color-changing metallic hue that’s best used on the mudguard, to a range of ombré hues that can completely change the look of the chunky Air-equipped sole unit. Elsewhere, customers can add semi-translucent hues to the upper’s overlay sections, and can add base colors that make the unique Swoosh print appear more prominently on the shoe.
Nike has provided plenty of customization for its Air Max 2090 By You, meaning you could opt for a spring-ready pair with colors such as “Cosmic Fuscia/Tulip Pink” or go for something that taps into the futuristic look of the shoe with the help of “Thunderstorm/Pure Platinum.”
