Just days after debuting his recent single “Tryna figure out where my phone at?,” Bruiser Brigade-affiliated Detroit rapper ZelooperZ is continuing to bring the energy for 2020, now sharing another new song and video titled “Going on a Date.”
Over a riotous beat supplied by Matrax, ZeloopeZz intermingles with bouncy basslines and skittering synths, offloading spastic bars and quick-witted one-liners with meme-like quality. The video mimics much of the Detroit rapper’s independent approach, with a grainy video featuring lo-fi edits that highlight his often hilarious dance moves.
