SALUTE Spotlights Horror-Themed Graphics for SS20
Dubbed “NIGHTMARE.”
SALUTE has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, showcasing a concise range of graphic-heavy goods against a striking red backdrop. Dubbed “NIGHTMARE,” the collection spans a series of casual streetwear staples like T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, pants and long-sleeves, emblazoned with horror film-inspired images, thick stripes and logos.
One noteworthy piece is a hoodie that’s been reconstructed with a bevy of different-colored fabrics. At the center of the piece is SALUTE’s logo in a futuristic font, complemented by surrounding panels that have been distressed at their edges. Graphics like grisly butterfly motifs and other abstract prints appear throughout the piece, while a frayed hemline rounds up the design. Another highlight is a black acid-dyed shirt. It comes with a slightly faded depiction of the clown from IT, printed over “SALUTE” branding. Other garments like the black distressed hoodie, striped yellow long-sleeve, printed shorts and black trousers round up the concise collection.
