Marine Serre Upcycles Graphic T-Shirts With Moon Logo Jersey
A bold, sustainable design from its SS20 lineup.
About two weeks ago, Marine Serre dropped a vibrant T-shirt made from upcycled graphic tees. The label has been known to incorporate sustainable designs to its collections, and this silhouette is a good example — one-of-one T-shirts that have been crafted in Italy with logo-emblazoned stretch-jersey fabrics. The eponymous label has now returned with two unique renditions of the style.
The T-shirts have been constructed with repurposed T-shirts at the front: one in black with an image of a car and one in blue stamped with a print of a Girl Scouts campaign. The former sees bold yellow prints, etched with the words “The Pro Painters Project” under the depicted vehicle. Complementing the yellow accents is a small blue logo that reads “STANDOX,” popping out from the black and yellow color scheme. Set over a soft blue palette, the other T-shirt comes with a print of an owl mascot and the words “Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, 2017.” Both pieces come with sleeves and waist panels emblazoned with Marine Serre’s signature crescent-moon pattern. The panels are set in a light beige color that contrasts the upcycled tees, coming in soft stretch-jersey for a sporty look and feel.
Marine Serre’s Upcycled Moon Logo T-Shirts are currently available at SSENSE’s website for $570 USD.
