BEAMS & Birkenstock Craft Lush Suede Zurich Sandals
Following the recent Arizona release.
Just three days ago, Japanese stalwart BEAMS and German footwear giant Birkenstock linked up for a set of Arizona sandals that were treated in premium nubuck. In the same colorways, the two labels have returned for another suede-tinged collaboration, this time with Birkenstock’s signature Zurich silhouette.
Coming in a creamy “Taupe” and supple “Gray” iteration, the sandals are fully covered in suede. In contrast to the previously seen Arizona silhouette, the Zurich comes with extra fabric along the uppers: a covered forefoot as opposed to the Arizona’s open design. It comes with two belts that can be adjusted for a fit that suits the wearer and a molded footbed for ergonomic comfort. Furthermore, “Birkenstock” branding is engraved on each belt, complementing the label’s logo stamped at the insole. All of these details rest atop a treaed EVA outsole for extra support and stability.
The BEAMS x Birkenstock Zurich sandals are currently available on BEAMS’ website for $189 USD.
