New Balance's M1500GWR Embraces Crisp Tri-Colored Design
A nod to its American heritage.

Back around the end of January, New Balance showcased understated “Beige” and “Navy” renditions of its 1500 Made in England model, colorways which were mostly uni-tonal. This time around, the footwear label has given the silhouette a vibrant tri-colored makeover, a design that nods to the brand’s American heritage.
Set atop a crisp white tongue, “New Balance” and “MADE IN ENGLAND” branding is etched in bright colors of red and blue, followed by tonal laces that cover the forefoot. Appearing all the way from the upper heel counter to the midsection is a lush blue suede panel that features an embroidered white “N” logo. Furthermore, thin bold hits of red are placed near the toecap, throatline and mudguards to complement the blue palette. All of these details are underscored by premium gray suede mudguards, while a clean, articulated ENCAP midsole completes the sneaker.
The New Balance M1500GWR “Gray/Blue” is currently available at HANON’s website for $182 USD and should hit NewBalance.com in the coming weeks.
