nano universe continues to add to its watch resume with the release of a limited Rolex Daytona-inspired Seiko. Like past watches with Seiko, nano universe once again digs back into the history of wristwatches to pay homage to a classic design.
A lot of details in the watch hearkens back to early ’60s models of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with its thin tachymeter scale, pump-pushers and reverse panda dial. A nice final detail can be found at the 3 o’clock position where “CHRONOGRAPH” is printed in red. This Seiko SZSJ005 watch is powered by a 8T67 quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
