PORTER Unveils Military-Grade "Flying Ace" Bag Capsule
Inspired by the U.S. Air Force’s Type K-2A boiler suit.

Following its collaboration with Descente ALLTERRAIN on a range of hi-tech bags from two weeks ago, PORTER has returned with yet another lineup of functional carrying solutions — this time a concise mil-spec-inspired capsule dubbed “Flying Ace.”
The capsule is based on the U.S. Air Force’s Type K-2A boiler suit from the early ’50s — characterized by highly functional details and durable fabrics. The color schemes seen in the assemblage have been kept restrained, offering just olive and black colorways on PORTER’s signature TANKER silhouettes. One noteworthy piece is the olive TANKER Backpack. It comes with a sleek olive nylon shell that mimics the shade of military tarps, accentuating details like the silver-toned zippers at the top and front compartments, three-button closure at the bottom corner and the woven suede patch at the front pouch. A faint “P.Y. Air Force” seal is stamped at the upper section as a finishing note to the piece.
Another highlight is a small pouch made with a durable canvas base. It comes with silver-toned hardware at the top opening, contrasted by a set of matte black clasps and buckles around the shoulder straps. To complete the details, the bag also comes with the aforementioned seal as well as a woven “PORTER” patch logo. Other pieces like tote bags, wallets, waist bags, rucksacks and briefcases round up the concise assemblage.
PORTER’s “Flying Ace” Bag capsule is exclusively available at the label’s physical KURA CHIKA by PORTER stores in Hong Kong and Macau.
