Take a First Look at Nike's Upcoming Self-Lacing Adapt LE 01 Model

Following the Adapt BB 2.0, Nike is now set to launch its next self-lacing footwear model. Dubbed the Auto Max Adapt LE 01, the upcoming silhouette will continue the Adapt line with a pared-back design reminiscent of the original Air Mag.

The upper of the shoe features a once piece technical neoprene construction accented by 3D triangular elements that conceal electronics that work with the lacing system. Additional detailing comes in the form of a rigid toe guard and a protruding heel counter marked done in a bright orange-red neon tone. Swooshes at the midfoot and heel, an Auto Max tongue badge and “NIKE” branding at the rear serve as the branding on the Adapt LE 01. Elevating the shoe is an Air unit assisted line design midsole paired with an orange-red rubber outsole connected to the heel counter. The sole unit also houses the control panel that helps control the self-lacing system for an enhanced fit.
