New Balance 1500 Made in England Gets Two Stately Styles
Elegant grey/tan and grey/navy takes on the heritage runner.
New Balance‘s 1500 Made in England is known for its elegant premium style, and now it’s surfaced in two new colorways: grey/tan and grey/navy. Although each may feature different hues, both provide a luxurious casual look that’s sure to appease the model’s ardent fans.
Leading things off, the grey/tan colorway offers a slightly flipped take on a classic New Balance all-grey style. Where the mesh base, leather tongue and trim are all a familiar shade of steel grey, the overlays opt instead for a soft tan suede, making for an artful mixture of light and dark hues. Meanwhile, the navy/grey nods to the most well-known iteration of the old-school 574 by combining a rich dark-colored base with similar steel grey accents.
Both proffer some similarities as well: “Made in England” embroidery graces each tongue, and stitched “N” midfoot logos provide branded flair. An ultra-soft sockliner combines with a two-tone ENCAP midsole for lasting comfort, and a rubber outsole provides grip. For a final touch of detail each comes equipped with a second pair of laces, enabling the wearer to switch their style up if they so choose.
The New Balance 1500 Made in England “Grey/Tan” and “Grey/Navy” are both available now at retailers like Caliroots for $180 USD.
