The sartorially-indebted sneaker appears in both a blacked-out colorway, as well as an “Open Beige” iteration, with both sporting a chunky two-inch ribbed crepe rubber platform sole unit. This unique design is continued from the base of the shoe all the way to its toe box, wrapping around the sides like a protective bumper.
In addition to its platform sole, you’ll find the Lucie and Luke Meier-designed pair features an upper made from buffed calfskin leather, with its brown tan lining decorating the underside of each panel. The same brown leather can be found on the inside of the shoe, as well as on the rear heel tab loop.
Rounding off each pair is a set of black rope laces that are threaded through silver eyelets. Take a look at the Jil Sander Vulcanized Rubber Sole Sneaker in the gallery above, and pick up both colorways at stockists such as SSENSE for $680 USD now.
In other news, 1017 ALYX 9SM has dropped its Invisible Leather Sneakers in a triple-black colorway.
