Little Dragon Enlists Kali Uchis for Optimistic Single "Are You Feeling Sad?"
The latest track from their forthcoming album, ‘New Me, Same Us.’
The release of Little Dragon‘s forthcoming studio album, New Me, Same Us, is right around the corner, and today the band furthers the momentum behind the project with their latest track, “Are You Feeling Sad?” Tapping Kali Uchis to join in on the upbeat tune, Little Dragon blends its familiar electronic sounds with introspective lyrics from Uchis, encouraging sad souls to look to the brighter side of life.
“We are super excited Kali features on this track. All of a sudden, at the end of last year, this version appeared in our emails like a beautiful Christmas gift,” the band said in a statement. “She put her twist on it and gave the track an amazing energy. Did we mention we also love her?!”
The record follows behind the upcoming album’s lead single, “Hold On,” which was released in January. New Me, Same Us, which is entirely self-produced by Little Dragon, is slated to drop later this month on March 27. Elsewhere for Uchis, the singer has recently linked up with Kaytranada and also shared new music of her own. She dropped off a theatrical video for “Solita” in December, and last month channeled Soul Train vibes with Kaytranda for their “10%” visual.
