Four Tet Poses a Throwback in New Single "4T Recordings"
Harking back to one of the IDM pioneer’s earliest monikers.

Four Tet has dropped off his latest single “4T Recordings,” the newest cut from his upcoming album Sixteen Oceans. The soft and atmospheric track’s title is a throwback to one of the IDM pioneer’s earliest monikers from the late ’90s, when he released his first few pieces of solo music as 4T Recordings.
“4T Recordings” marks the third single of Sixteen Oceans following “Teenage Birdsong” and “Baby” with Ellie Goulding. Four Tet also announced that his 10th studio album will be releasing on March 13 via Text Records, and will be his first full-length release since New Energy in 2017.
