UNITED ARROWS & SONS Enlivens Old British Staples for SS20
’80s-inspirations through-and-through.

Following its FW19 collection unveiled back in November, UNITED ARROWS & SONS is back with a brand new SS20 lookbook. Set under soft lights behind contemporary interior architectures, the visuals highlight an assemblage of sartorial styles imbued with an ’80s-inspired twist.
The collection is made up of a rich blend of retro British and American staples that have been tweaked through the Japanese label’s distinctive lens: loosely-tailored suits, bold wine-colored button-ups, polo shirts, hunter’s jackets, long-sleeves, sweaters and crewnecks, to name a few. Garments like the black half-zip anorak and light gray suit showcase a modern approach to crafting sartorial classics, revitalizing them with intricate floral embroidery and light pleating for a semi-casual look and feel. Pieces like the brown hunter’s jacket and oversized crewneck have been enlivened with vintage fluorescent tones, while other styles like the black button-up or pink oversized knit sweater offer more understated alternatives to the expansive lineup.
Though no exact release dates have been confirmed, UNITED ARROWS & SONS’ SS20 collection is slated to arrive in April at the label’s website.
