99%IS- Delivers Punk-Fueled Patchwork Cap for SS20
The handmade hats feature haphazardly stitched-on mesh and nylon panels.
Part of the ongoing rollout for its Spring/Summer 2020 “END N AND” collection, South Korean designer Bajowoo’s turbulent 99%IS- imprint has returned with a handmade Patchwork Cap that epitomizes the esoteric designer’s punk underpinnings.
The one-of-a-kind hats have been crafted from a patched fabric in navy, black, and gray, laid atop a four-panel hat construction that features mesh side vents for increased heat circulation. The various mesh and nylon panels feature frayed edges, with haphazard stitching in black running across the entirety of the cap. Details on the piece include a rubber 99%IS tag stitched onto the front, a stitched tag on the rear with silver script embroidery that reads “Custom Handmade,” and a branded “LIVE MY L1FE” sweatband on the inside.
You can take a detailed look at 99%IS’ Patchwork Cap in the gallery above. For those interested in picking one up, head over to Nubian’s webstore where it is retailing for ¥32,800 JPY (approximately $315 USD).
