Back in October, WACKO MARIA and Tim Lehi collaborated on a concise FW19 capsule filled with signature motifs by the tattoo artist. Returning for yet another collaboration, Lehi has offered a new set of traditional Japanese prints for SS20 over three richly embroidered Vietnam souvenir jackets.
The first piece sees a bright red varsity collar, with matching cuffs and hem, contrasted against a sleek black foundation. At the upper left chest is an intricately detailed artwork of a tiger’s head with an open mouth and a thick paw resting just below — on the right chest is an image of a green dragon, depicted with a pink underside and yellow horns, amidst thin clouds of smoke. Appearing directly under both embellishments are tonal welt pockets at the waist, while a silver-toned central zip closure rounds up the jacket’s design.
The next piece comes with the same tiger graphic, except woven at the back. “Guilty Parties” branding is placed at the front of the piece, finished off by a cream-white ribbing at the hemline. Coming with the aforementioned dragon artwork, the final Vietnam jacket sees the motif embroidered at the back as well. Bold lettering is inscribed at the upper left chest, while flap collars and buttoned cuffs complete the details of the piece. All three jackets boast delicate pink satin lining for a smooth, luxe finish.
The Tim Lehi x WACKO MARIA Vietnam Jackets are currently available at WACKO MARIA’s website, ranging from $539 – $550 USD.
