Last month, Nike delivered a vintage-inspired iteration of the Blazer Mid ‘77 in a bold snakeskin makeover. Now, Nike has opted for a more minimal rendition of the silhouette, giving the sneakers buttery soft vachetta leather uppers — “Light Patina” and “Dark Patina.”
The former colorway sees creamy peach-toned accents against a clean white leather foundation. Starting at the top of the shoe, beige highlights appear along the upper heel counter with “NIKE” branding debossed in bold block letters. The top of the tongue sees a small tab logo, followed by tonal laces to match the crisp white shade of the rest body. Embellished at the sidewalls is a contrasting Swoosh in a fawn palette, while a retro ecru-tinted midsole rounds up the design. The “Dark Patina” comes with all-black uppers with the same leather materials as the “Light Patina.” Popping out from its dark uppers, this colorway’s sleek design comes with a few contrasting finishes: beige top-stitching around the Swoosh and the woven tongue tab as well as a crisp white midsole.
The Nike Blazer Mid “Light Patina” and “Dark Patina” will be available on February 24 at 11 p.m. EST at Nike’s website for $100 USD.
