Straying from his conventional seasonal offerings, Tobias Birk Nielsen introduces his ISO.POETISM pseudonym for Fall/Winter 2020, “OCEAN OF (DIS)BELIEF.” A platform for future projects and collaborations, ISO.POETISM’s debut range delivers a variety of Nielsen’s signature design elements, ranging from unique dye treatments to multi-purpose layering pieces.
Along with technical items crafted in partnership with Jakarta’s ORBITgear, Tobias Birk Nielsen’s new range includes a host of staple styles favored by the brand. These range from weather-fighting parkas and cargo-pocketed vests to head-obscuring hoodies and wide-brimmed safari hats. Stylized graphics take cues from schematics, bolstered by ISO.POETISM branding. Each trim jacket and lengthy coat is abetted by a host of pockets, pull-tabs and straps for customizable fits and features, reinforcing Nielsen’s fascination with functionality.
