Doja Cat Is Back With a Smooth, '70s Inspired Visual for "Say So"
Her ‘Hot Pink’ Tour kicks off in March.
Doja Cat‘s 2019 was the biggest year of her young career thus far, releasing her second studio album Hot Pink, a record that blended the perfect combination of 90’s hip-hop sensibilities fitting for the 24-year-old with her witty and catchy lyrical prowess. Her single “Say So” garnered over 150 million streams worldwide thanks in part to the 16 million TikTok videos created using the song as the score. Today, Doja returns with a new glittering, Los Angeles magic hour-set visual perfect for the smooth and addicting track.
Since the release of Hot Pink, Doja Cat has showed off her versatility with singles like “Boss Bitch” from the Birds of Prey Soundtrack and her one-off “Harley”, both upbeat and more hip-hop focused offerings. With “Say So,” she steals the show with every frame of the vintage 4×3 crop, donning a Farrah Fawcett-inspired ensemble one second, and wearing a disco ball-like sparkling one-piece the next to perfectly match the disco and funk homage.
Last year, she joined HYPEBEAST Radio’s MIC/LINE: Doja Cat to talk about her rise through her viral hit “Mooo!”, touring internationally and more. Doja Cat also announced more touring dates today, starting March 25 in Chicago and running until April 15 in San Francisco. Watch the music video above, and check out the tour dates below with tickets available at her official website. In more music news, watch Yung Lean return with a new vibrant visual offering for his somber “Boylife in EU” track.
