After unveiling its collaboration with Fumito Ganryu on the S/Lab XT-6 ADV Sneaker, French label Salomon has returned with a new range of footwear to coincide with the opening of its Tokyo brick and mortar. The store will be located in Shibuya and be the first to introduce the latest colorways of silhouettes Speedcross 3, XT-Wings 2 ADV and X Ultra ADV for retail.

First up is the Speedcross 3, coming in colors of white, black and blue. It boasts sleek batted nylon uppers, complemented by rubber overlays that form a zig-zag pattern across the sidewalls. Mesh paneling appears at the top of the tongue, followed by thin stretchy rope laces and a protective rubber toecap. “SALOMAN III” branding is placed at the rear quarter to denote the name of the silhouette, while a light, cushioned LT midsole compound is accompanied by “M&S” contragrip.

Next is the XT-WINGS 2 ADV, in white, black and gray. The model is dominated by sleek, ultra-fine breathable mesh, protective water-resistant overlays. Like the aforementioned piece, zig-zag-like webbing is placed over the main body, complemented by a subtly protruding rubber layer that stretches from the rear quarter to the toecap. Other details like the elastic lacing system and the molded OrthoLite® footbed top off the shoe.

Lastly, the X Ultra ADV comes with a mesh weave that’s wider than the one on the previously mentioned silhouette. It sees a lightly cushioned set of laces, a ripstop heel pull, webbed panels at the sidewalls and an articulated midsole, finished with a stabilizing advanced chassis system for optimal responsiveness.

All three silhouettes from Salomon will be available at its physical store in Tokyo on March 20, ranging from $154 – $172 USD.
